Who Are We?
The School Solutions Network merges the power of communities with the technical expertise of Status Solutions in order to holistically identify and address each school’s unique needs. SSN strengthens K-12 schools by leveraging innovative technology and education, expert counsel and community resources.
In an ever-evolving world faced with strained resources, growing needs and wide-ranging threats, schools should not be alone in the pursuit of safety. When connected, schools and communities are able to elevate one another by raising awareness, fostering safety and cultivating pride in our school districts.
How Can We Help?
SSN provides ongoing education through interactive panels, programming and workshops to teach students, staff and communities how to proactively assess and address risk in order to identify and improve potential areas of weakness before a situation arises.
School Solutions Network Panel & Fair
On Tuesday, March 14, 2017 the School Solutions Network hosted a resource panel and fair in Westerville, Ohio. This event featured a well-rounded group of participants, including keynote speaker, Michele Gay, representatives from local and national nonprofits, local parent organizations, local business owners and many more. Michele Gay is the mother of Josephine Grace, lost on December 14, 2012 during the Sandy Hook school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. Michele kicked off the panelist presentations by sharing her story and stressing the importance of tapping into your own community’s resources. The panel continued with presentations from a number of resources within Westerville, Ohio sharing what they do, along with their involvement in the network.

Communities play an integral role in raising awareness, pushing innovation and fostering safety and pride in our schools. The SSN simply provides a direct line of communication between schools and communities to utilize their resources and alleviate the needs of both groups. Whether schools need assistance with providing disadvantaged students with the proper supplies, seeking expert advice on student discipline or implementing safety technology, the SSN will be there to connect them with the proper resource within their own community.
