School Safety is Anderson County School District’s Number One Priority
August 11, 2022 – WESTERVILLE, OHIO – Today, Status Solutions is proud to announce their recent partnership with Anderson County School District to enhance the district’s school safety and risk management platform. This partnership will enhance the district’s situational awareness catalog by allowing staff and administrators to contact first responders with the click of a button with the Situational Awareness Response Assistant, also known as SARA. SARA will give school personnel the ability to summon help from any web browser quickly and discreetly and send and receive alerts through various devices. Status Solutions is offering to provide this platform at no cost to any school district throughout the country that elects to receive the life safety technology.
“Anderson County School District was looking for a solution that would improve safety and security within their schools for their students and staff, said Amy Jeffs, President of Status Solutions. “Anderson County believes in developing, challenging, and supporting every student every day. Providing a safe environment for students every day is a big part of that.”
“We heard great things about the work Status Solutions was doing in our community and wanted to connect with them. The Status Solutions team shared how their company was assisting several area school systems through implementing technology and thoughtfully addressing challenges surrounding school safety. After visiting another school system to see what they were doing with the technology, it was easy to make the decision to join up.” Explains Greg Deal, Assistant Director of Schools at Anderson County.
Since 2001, Status Solutions has been a leading provider of situational awareness technologies. With steadily increasing threats impacting schools’ safety, Mike MacLeod, founder of Status Solutions, felt compelled to use Status Solutions’ expertise to find a solution that would apply to all schools, regardless of their financial standing. The Situational Awareness Response Assistant (SARA) allows schools to improve safety and communication by providing staff the ability to summon help from any web browser, which allows first responders to be called quickly and discreetly, and to send and receive alerts via various devices.
